It Occurred to Me…
While reading Seth Godin’s Tribes.
On Page 58 he he says, “And the rest? They lurked. They sat and they watched. They were hiding, afraid of something that wasn’t likely to happen.”
And it occurred to me that the operative word here is afraid.
Why do we lurk? Sometimes it’s to “look before we leap” and that’s ok as long as you eventually take the leap. But taking that leap will always have some element of faith attached to it, won’t it? Nothing is certain in life and that’s what makes it so wonderful.
But it’s only wonderful if sometimes allow yourself more faith than fear. Then you stop lurking and start leaping.
And that’s when it gets really good!
Excuse me, I’m going to go take a flying leap…
Until next time,
Sandra
